- Regarding the registered ppp.device and thoughput: the non-registered
- ppp.device has a MTU set at 1500. My provider indicated a MTU of
- 256 should be used on my connection. What kind of difference can MTU
- settings make? I don't have a clue whether to use owndeviceunit or shared
- options. Plus the FM lists a bunch more options..

- Also within Amitcp, are there things besides baud rate that will improve
- performance? I am using the defaults mostly.
